Tomás Buenaventura is an Interior Architect in high-end residential, retail and commercial contexts. Tomás spent the early years of his life in Santiago, Chile, where he studied Architecture and obtained a master’s degree. He began to build his career in New York City, where he collaborated with award-winning architectural and interior design firm Shelton Mindel, designing an apartment for Gordon Sumner (Sting), lead singer of the iconic band The Police.He’s has worked on projects of renown worldly Architects such as Herzog & de Meuron, Jean Nouvel and Richard Meier among others. After his collaboration with SMA he joined Studio Sofield where he was the head designer for the Tom Ford flagship store in London, along with franchise stores in Paris, Istanbul, and Kuwait.
